A Bit About Therapy
Healing, does not have to be so hard. With gentle guidance and support, the process can go quite smoothly. Often all we need are some tools, tenderness and time. As a psychotherapist, I take the time to make sure you feel heard, validated, cared for. You will learn tools to process difficult emotions, recover from trauma and be able to flex through emotions with ease. I remind you that there is joy, and happiness in spite of the sadness or anxiousness. We will likely cry together, laugh together and grow together. You are not alone.
Services I Offer
I provide supportive and collaborative individual, couples and family therapy. There are many different types of therapy and different modalities. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which is a trauma and anxiety symptom reduction tool that speeds up the healing process. Rather than trying to discuss multiple traumatic events this process streamlines healing into fewer less emotionally charged sessions. I also use many tools related to Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness and Emotionally Focused Couples therapy. I also provide classes on Coping with Emotions, Understanding intuition and more.
